How to Start a Figaro Franchise

figaro-logoThe Figaro Franchise, or formally named Figaro Coffee Company, started in 1993 with a group of coffee lovers who had a dream of having their own cafe where they could hang out with friends and associates.  In November 1993, this dream eventually became a reality when their first store, a kiosk in a mall in Makati, opened for the first time which was first called the “F” store.

The first few months were a bit slow for the business as it was still a new concept of serving specialty coffee drinks being introduced to the Filipinos.  It eventually moved forward and it started to get known as a place to get good coffee.

It was April of 1994 when the company started using the name Figaro Coffee Company when they were finally awarded a mall space in Manila.  And as more people patronized their store and as business started to grow more, they eventually offered a franchise package of their cafe.

What started out from serving coffee drinks as one of their main products when it first opened became several specialty food and drink products as Figaro Coffee Company grew.  They now serve, together with their specialty coffees, teas, pastas, sandwiches, cakes, rice meals, and other delicious food items that can be taken on their own or with any of their specialty drinks.

To date, they already have over 70 outlets all over the Philippines and a small portion outside the country. They are also a proud member of the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA).
