The Adobo Connection was established by two graduates from the Harvard Business School. Their specialty of course, as the name suggests, is a variety of Adobo recipes. Adobo, being one of the foods that represent the Filipino culture, and with almost every region and every family having their own recipes and mixed ingredients, anyone entering the Adobo Connection would be presented with a mouth watering selection of the best recipes of Adobo in the Philippines.
Their first store opened in November of 2010 in Makati. With it open for franchising, the Adobo Connection franchise then quickly grew, with more branches opening here and there.
Their menu mainly features Filipino Foods with a variety of Adobo recipes topping this list. They were voted as the “Pinakamasarap na Adobo in the Metro” featured in a blind taste test by GMA News TV.
Some of their adobo specialties include the Kuya’s Fried Adobo, Adobo sa Gata, Mama’s Sweet Adobo and Lola’s Classic Adobo. Their specialty non adobo selections include the Beef Kare-Kare, Sisig and Leche Flan. Their meals also include a “Kanin all U Can!” feature wherein customers can ask for more rice when they’ve consumed all that they have and they still have more viand on their plates.
The Adobo Connection currently has 45 stores with 3 of them company owned and the rest are franchised.
Adobo Connection Franchising
The initial investment for an Adobo Connection Franchise is around P3.75 Million. This include all the fees (franchise fee, construction cost, etc.) and depends on the size and condition of the proposed location of the store.
The Franchise fee is around P650,000 for 5 years plus a continuing fee of 5% of sales which includes the following:
