The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is definitely one of the top 3 (or even 2?) most popular Coffee shops in the Philippines. In the last few years, I’m sure I’ve visited over 50 different CoffeeBean stores in Metro Manila. I love conducting my business meetings, writing sessions and just working at CoffeeBean, mainly because of the calm cozy atmosphere, free internet, and good coffee (and food!).
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf was created in California, back in 1963, and ever since – it has established itself as one of the oldest and largest privately-owned specialty coffee and tea retailer in the US, and beyond. Among many coffee, tea and food products, they offer handcrafted made to order beverages.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf currently has over 1000 self-owned and franchised stores in the United States and 31 other countries, including the Philippines.
What has made Coffee Bean so successful? Well, it’s a mix of a few powerful business strategies: They’ve adhered to their core values of offering customers the best coffees and teas from around the world, very friendly staff, and a clean comfortable venue for customers to relax (and work!) while enjoying their hot beverage.
What is the Coffee Bean Franchise offer? Well, it’s not so easy…CoffeeBean are looking for franchisees with significant business experience who have successfully owned and operated multiple business units and who have substantial financial resources. CoffeeBean franchises are awarded only for multi-unit (20+) territories (regional franchise), and not for individual stores.
Also, Coffee Bean doesn’t disclose their financial requirements for acquiring a franchise, so if you want more detailed information – you will need to contact them directly at: Tel.: 371-8688, or franchise@coffeebean.com.
For now – enjoy your cub of hot coffee ! 🙂
